DisplaySearch analyst Richard Shim told CNET that Google is developing one 7inch tablet computer with 1280×800 resolution display. It will begin to be manufactured in this April and the first product volume is 1.5 to 2 million.

One Asian supplier also said that Google tablet computer will be armed with Android 4.0 and the sold price will be 199$, so its main competitor will be Amazon Kindle Fire.

Google already has three tablet computers: 10.1-inch Xoom, 10.1-inch Xyboard (Xoom 2) and 8.2 inches Xyboard. Why build a 7-inch Tablet PC?

Some analysts said that the success of Kindle Fire may be the reason why Google wants to develop 7-inch Tablet PC. But to be honest, I personally doubt about this news. 8.2inch Xyboard is very close to 7inch. There is no reason to provide so many tablet computer competing themselves.
